TCTC - Tuolumne County Transportation Council
The Tuolumne County Transportation Council (TCTC) is responsible for developing transportation improvements that reflect the needs, concerns and actions of all the agencies involved in the Tuolumne County region, while contributing to the region's mobility needs, economic health, and environmental quality.
TCTA - Tuolumne County Transit Agency
The Tuolumne County Transit Agency (TCTA) is a joint powers agency that is responsible for the administration and operation of the Regional Public Transportation System, Tuolumne County Transit. Their Mission Statement is to "Provide safe, reliable and effective public transportation.
CAC - Citizen's Advisory Committee
The Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC) advises the Tuolumne County Transportation Council (TCTC) and the Tuolumne County Transit Agency (TCTA) on all matters relating to the regional transportation and transit systems. The CAC is an appointed committee and membership of the CAC consists of eight total members with staggered four year terms.
TAC - Technical Advisory Committee
The Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) is the clearinghouse and technical review body for all items to be considered by the Tuolumne County Transportation Council (TCTC). The TAC is advisory to the TCTC on all matters relating to regional transportation planning including, but not limited to, the development of the Regional Transportation Plan (RTP), Regional Transportation Transportation Improvement Program (RTIP) and annual Overall Work Program (OWP).
SSTAC - Social Service Transportation Advisory Council
TA - Trails Advisory Committee
The Social Services Transportation Advisory Council (SSTAC) was established by the Tuolumne County Transportation Council (TCTC) in 1986, and acts as an Advisory Council to the TCTC on all matters pertaining to the transit needs of transit dependent and transit disadvantaged persons. The SSTAC's input is considered and made an intregal part of the TCTC's annual "Unmet Transit Needs" hearing and findings process. The SSTAC is comprised of a myriad of representatives of potentially transit dependent segments of the community (senior citizens, persons with disabilities, persons of limited means, etc.) and transit operators.
