Proposed Access Improvements to Chicken Ranch Casino along SR 108/49.
Chicken Ranch Band of Me-Wuk Indians is proposing a new roundabout at the intersection of SR 108/49 and Mackey Ranch Road which will be the new entrance to the Chicken Ranch Casino. The intersection of Chicken Ranch Road and State Route 108/49 has been the subject of concerns regarding safety for motorists. The Chicken Ranch Band of Me-Wuk Indians has hired GHD Consultants to work with Caltrans, Tuolumne County and the TCTC on safety improvements on the State highway including a new entrance road. The GHD Consultants made a presentation at the TCTC meeting on October 10th about the roundabout proposal.
